Ceyda Oskay is an artist and humanitarian worker based mainly in Kuwait, Turkey (Istanbul), and London. She is available for consultancies and workshop instruction. 

Ceyda works in a variety of media (mostly textile, print, ceramics, painting, sculpture, and installation) – often around themes of traces, forgotten histories, autobiographies, as well as wider social issues.

Ceyda took courses at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Istanbul Fashion/Moda Academy (IMA), and Central Saint Martins. She obtained a BA in International Studies (with research at the South African National Gallery and art and social change) from the University of Chicago, and an MA from the Middle East Technical University in Middle East Studies (with research on tribalism, state-formation, and citizenship in Kuwait).

Her workshops include: natural dyes, block printing/ linoleum printing, screenprinting, ceramics, painting and drawing, and other textile work. She also designs clothes, including costumes for theatre.
